All server maintenance has been completed ahead of schedule.
The DB server has now been taken down to begin maintanence.
Server2 has now been taken down to begin maintenance.
There will be a 2 hour outage to install a new system board on server2, at 3.20 am New York time. If your mail is stored on server2, you will be informed of this outage when you go to the FastMail.FM home page from 2 hours before the outage. This maintenance is required to replace a faulty voltage regulator, in order to ensure trouble-free operation of the server. You can also see the outage time in your local time zone.
At 4am NY time we will be upgrading our database server with a new monitoring system which will allow us to better diagnose problems, if any occur. This will result in a 45 minute outage for all users at this time. You can see this outage time in your local time zone.
There will be a 5-10 minute outage to install a kernel upgrade, at 2am New York time. This upgrade should result in better performance during peak times. You can also see the outage time in your local time zone.

File storage access for some users seems to be down. We’re currently investigating what is happening
There were was a problem with one of the servers between around 9AM and 10AM US EST time that caused slow performance and access problems. This has now been resolved, and all services are running normally again. Sorry for any inconvenience
