imap5 problem

imap5 was down for approximately 30 minutes.

Normal access to imap5 has been restored, and mail that was held up during the outage has  been delivered.

We’re working hard to restore service as soon as we possibly can, and also to make sure that the unaffected customers remain unaffected.

My current estimated time of completion of the disk check is about 6 hours from now. At that time we will be able to provide details as to when to expect fully restored service.

Update: 22:00, 2nd of September GMT

Unfortunately there are more files on the faulty disk than I had estimated for.  This will extend the disk check time.  By comparing the extra files to similar sets of files on other disks, I estimate that this will add 5 hours to the disk check time, meaning that we still have another 6 hours before the check is complete.  The current estimate is 04:00 3rd of September GMT
