Testing new update system

To make posting updates easier and faster in the future, I’ve just put together a quick scripting system that allows us to post updates directly from our server command line rather than having to go to the blog

As a bonus, it includes the name of the admin posting the message, the exact time of the post (including a link to timeanddate.com so people can easily see the time in their own timezone), and an easy way to add updates to an existing post

This is what an update to an existing post looks like

As noted on the forum, the links to timeanddate.com above were off by one month. The link on this update should be correct

One IMAP server down

One imap server is down affecting some users being able to access their email. We’re investigating and will have more details shortly.

Update: We’re having troubles getting the machine back online, so we’re going to fail all affected users onto their replica. Should be back up shortly.

Update: We’ve now failed over the affected users to their replica servers. Some actions might be a bit slow while the backlog of queued email is delivered, but all services should be normal again in about 20 minutes
