Delayed and/or bounced email to comcast.net

The comcast.net domain was hijacked by some unknown attackers.

The incorrect DNS nameserver records had a large TTL time on them, so the comcast.net domain wasn’t resolving on our systems for about 24 hours, which was causing email to comcast.net to be delayed or bounced.

We’ve cleared the records from the cache now, so email to comcast.net should be going through now.

https://www.fastmail.fm returned https://mail.messagingengine.com certificate for 10 minutes

Due to a mistake with our IP addresses, we were accidentally returning the wrong IP address for www.fastmail.fm for a short time. This would have resulted in anyone going to https://www.fastmail.fm getting the certificate for mail.messagingengine.com, which would have caused browsers to report a problem.

It’s been fixed now, but due to DNS caching, some people may still get the error for the next hour or so, but it should be fixed automatically after that.
