Some users were receiving more spam than normal. We’ve investigated and found the problem was related to one of our spam checking servers not working properly. That server has now been fixed, so all email should be correctly being spam checked again.
For the curious, the problem was caused by a file corruption that occurred when one of our spam checking servers crashed yesterday due to the leap second bug.
We’ll be adding an additional check to spot this sort of corruption in the future should it ever happen again.
